THE PATIO RESTAURANT
I look forward to exhibiting this fall at the Patio Restaurant in New Iberia. They've been serving wonderful food for many years and have graciously given L'Acadian Art Guild members regular opportunity to display their works in the restaurant. As a member of L'Acadian Art Guild, I have the privilege of showing four paintings at the Downtown location of Regions Bank in New Iberia during the month of June. I will feature pet portraits at this exhibit, and a portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to the New Iberia Humane Society. If you're in the area, please stop by and view, and please contact me if you are interested in making a purchase.

SHADOWS ON THE TECHE VISITORS CENTER, NEW IBERIA
The Summer 2012 Art Show of the L'Acadian Art Guild will be held at the Shadows Visitors Center in New Iberia beginning June 1 and running through Labor Day. Most of our works will depict Louisiana scenes.

NEW IBERIA DOWNTOWN ARTWALK
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, April 14, 2012 to enjoy the New Iberia Downtown Artwalk. I have the privilege of displaying some of my newest paintings at Jolie Fleur Florist & Coffee Shop, 148 W. Main Street in New Iberia.This year from 2pm – 4pm will be Children’s ChalkArt at the Steamboat Warehouse Pavilion where school-aged children are invited to share their CREATIVE talents and draw, draw, draw to their hearts content. Each participant will receive a “Bicentennial Certificate of Appreciation,” and their masterpieces will be on display during the Artwalk which begins at 4pm and ends at 8pm.
For an evening to
remember…..there will be musicians playing music along the Artwalk path; food
vendors at different sites; downtown businesses hosting local & visiting
Artists ……and this year the City is providing a trolley to “ease the walking pains of our
shoppers,” so there’ll be NO EXCUSE not to visit each site to see all of
the beautiful artistic displays.

NEW IBERIA SEMI-ANNUAL DOWNTOWN ART WALK
New Iberia is having its spring Downtown ArtWalk on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. I am privileged to be a part of this event again and will be showing my paintings at the Bayou Teche Museum, located at 131 E. Main Street. Select works are priced to move to make room for new pieces in 2011. I hope to see you there!

SHADOWS ON THE TECHE ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR
Over 80 Craftsmen and artists will display across the Shadows gardens for its semi-annual fair on Saturday, March 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Great food, amazing crafts, wonderful works of art and a fun time for all ages.
I will be among the members of L'Acadian Art Guild displaying outside the fence along Main Street. Come and say hello and browse some interesting works of art!

Works of art created by members of L'Acadian Art Guild of New Iberia will be featured in an art show at Cafe des Amis in Breaux Bridge through the month of March. One of my pastels, "Rick's Amaryllis," will be among the paintings on display. Do drop by the Cafe des Amis next month and enjoy some of the wonderful local art for sale.

Please join me for the Fall Downtown ArtWalk in New Iberia next Saturday, October 30 from 4-7pm. I will have a booth at the Shadows Visitors Center on Main Street, across from the Shadows on the Teche, and would love to see you there.
This ArtWalk will include something a bit different, "Beneath the Balconies," with actors doing short performances (10-15 minutes) at various locations along Main Street.

The Lighthouse Cottage Art Gallery & Gift Boutique opens today in New Iberia, featuring original artwork by local artists, vintage giftware, collectibles, stained glass, jewelry and gift baskets.
The shop is located at 401 W. Main Street, New Iberia, LA, and the hours are currently 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, Thursday through Saturday.
Proprietor Linda Bijeaux has asked me to place a few of my paintings on display in her shop. I invite you to stop by and browse, and I welcome your comments or questions.
